Bastiaan Beerens

Bastiaan Beerens is a distinguished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in founding and managing innovative companies. As the Founder and Supervisory Director at WeTransfer since November 2009, Bastiaan played a crucial role in establishing the platform, also serving as CEO. Concurrently, Bastiaan co-founded the Dutch Founders Fund in December 2018, focusing on investing in early-stage B2B marketplaces and digital platforms across Europe. Additionally, since 2012, Bastiaan has led WeMarket, a platform facilitating global trading between buyers and suppliers. Furthermore, Bastiaan founded OY communications in 1998, specializing in concepting, design, print, photography, and digital media. Bastiaan began the professional journey at Nike Europe as a Print Production Manager from 1994 to 1998, following an education at Grafisch Lyceum from 1987 to 1991.
