Elise Diskin

Elise Diskin has worked at multiple companies in various roles throughout their career. In 2015, they started their professional journey as a Hostess at Agave Mexican Restaurant. The following year, they worked as a Pier Agent at Metro Shore for a few months. In 2017, they joined AudioControl as a Marketing Intern, gaining valuable experience in the field. Concurrently, they also served as a Project Lead at Design for America, where they displayed their leadership skills. Since 2019, Elise has been associated with WeVideo, initially as a Product Designer and currently as a Senior Product Designer.

Elise Diskin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Washington, graduating in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Bishop Blanchet High School from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Elise has obtained several certifications related to user experience (UX) and design. In 2022, they received a Nielsen Norman Group UX Certificate. In 2021, they earned certifications in Accessibility for Web Design and UX Foundations: Accessibility from LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Designing Emotion: How To Use Design To Move People, John Maeda on Design, Business, and Inclusion, Communicating with Empathy, Preparing for Successful Communication, UX Foundations: Logic and Content, UX Foundations: Style Guides and Design Systems, and Principle for UX Design, all from LinkedIn.
