Christian Oestreich

Christian Oestreich has extensive work experience in software architecture and development. Christian is currently serving as the Vice President of Architecture at WEX since November 2021. Before that, they worked at Optum as a Distinguished Engineer from May 2018 to November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Software Architecture at UnitedHealth Group from September 2016 to May 2018. From August 2014 to September 2016, they worked as the Principal Software Architect at Bluestem Brands, Inc., where they led technology and architecture decisions and designed and delivered a service-based platform architecture. Christian also held roles at UnitedHealth Group, TALENT Software Services, Fallon, FreedomNation, and Best Buy, where they gained experience in application architecture, software development, and web development.

Christian Oestreich attended the University of Minnesota from 2000 to 2012, majoring in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at North Hennepin Community College from 1996 to 1997.
