Nick Chiarello

Nick Chiarello is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in managing substantial portfolios and participating in strategic investment committees. Currently serving as Senior Investment Officer at WEX since July 2021, Nick oversees a $3 billion fixed income portfolio and chairs the Bank's Investment Committee. Previously, Nick held the role of Director of Investments and Assistant Treasurer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, managing a $5 billion investment portfolio and a defined benefit plan. Other notable positions include Treasury Director, where Nick managed a $400 million allocation in multiple asset classes, and roles at Textron Financial and CIT that focused on credit recovery and asset management. Nick holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BS in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
