Elizabeth Baum has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Elizabeth started as a Consultant Analyst at PA Consulting Group, where they provided solutions to strategic and operational issues for clients. Elizabeth then worked as an Environmental Planner at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, where they were responsible for developing state implementation plans to reduce ozone levels. Afterwards, they worked as a Commercial Associate at Duke Energy Corp. In 2006, they joined Weyerhaeuser as a Business Analyst in the Investment Evaluation Department, guiding business unit teams through decision processes for capital investments. Over the years, they progressed within the company and held roles such as Manager of Enterprise Planning & Analysis, Director of Investor Relations, Vice President of Investor Relations & Enterprise Planning, and most recently, as a Senior Director of Strategic Projects in Corporate Development. In this role, they led the development of business growth strategy and evaluation of growth and optimization opportunities for Weyerhaeuser's wood products business. Elizabeth also oversaw the development of an ESG data governance and control framework.
Elizabeth Baum has an MBA in General Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Elizabeth also has a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, which they earned from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they have obtained the Investor Relations Charter certification from the National Investor Relations Institute in December 2016.
