Sean McGrath

Sean McGrath is a technology professional with extensive experience in web and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Development at WeyMedia since October 2017, Sean leads a team of full stack JavaScript developers. As a co-founder and web developer at blend88 since January 2013, responsibilities include project management and developing custom applications. Sean also operates Sean McGrath Photography, focusing on weddings and commercial projects. Previous roles include CEO of Code & Hustle, where Sean oversaw brand and product management, and Senior Software Developer at WellTrack, where mobile applications were developed using Angular and Ionic. As CTO and co-founder of *ELLA, backend APIs were designed, while early career work involved web development for local businesses and building components of a social networking site as a Senior Software Architect. Sean’s foundational experience in software development began at the National Research Council Canada and a co-op position with Énergie NB Power. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick.
