Richard Bowers

Richard Bowers is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event coordination, photography, and customer service management. Currently serving as the Event and Training Coordinator at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy since April 2023, Richard has also been directly involved in sports photography through Richard Bowers Photography since April 2020. Previous roles include Sail Loft Manager at Moatt Sails, where design and production of sails for racing and cruising were key responsibilities. Richard held various managerial positions within the Ministry of Justice UK, overseeing account management and customer service across multiple regions, and contributed to the field of IT support as a Senior I.T. Support Officer at Dorset Probation Trust earlier in their career. Richard's educational background includes A-level Physics from Weymouth Grammar School.
