Joseph A. Serrano

Joseph A. Serrano has extensive experience in facilities management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Facilities and Plant Operations at South Florida State College since August 2019. Previously, Joseph held positions such as Director of Facilities at Anderson University and Director of Custodial Services at Seattle University, where responsibilities included day-to-day operations and staff management. Joseph has also worked at Orlando International Airport in various roles, including Senior Facilities Manager, overseeing operations at one of the busiest airports in Florida. Additional experience includes serving as Safety Manager for a contractor at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and as Operations/Safety Manager in past roles with 4M Building Solutions and independent ventures. Joseph holds education credentials from the University of Phoenix, with studies completed between 1996 and 1998.
