Dahlia J.W. McManus has over 20 years of experience in various roles and organizations. Dahlia J.W. began their career as a Regional Organizer at the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union in 1999. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the Director of Community Organizing at the Sacramento Mutual Housing Association. In 2006, Dahlia joined the American Civil Liberties Union as a Senior Advocacy and Policy Strategist, where they provided strategic planning support and oversaw a team of Advocacy Strategists and Policy Counsels. Since 2016, Dahlia has been working at the Working Families Party, first as a Deputy Director and currently as the Director of Operations.
