Rebecca Petit, M.S., is an experienced multimedia journalist with a robust background in news reporting and production. Currently serving as a Multimedia Journalist at WFTS-TV since October 2020, Rebecca specializes in capturing, editing, and producing stories for various platforms while ensuring factual accuracy through extensive research. Previous roles include MMJ and weekend anchor fill-in at WZDX, News Producer at KDBC-TV, and Washington D.C. Correspondent for WMBD-TV, among others. Rebecca's diverse experience encompasses enterprise reporting, live on-scene coverage, and social media management, complemented by early career roles in copywriting and internships across notable media organizations. Educational credentials include a BA in Journalism from Howard University and a Master's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.
