Opeoluwa Wonuola Olawale is an experienced professional in clean energy transitions, currently serving as Lead Strategist at WGL since September 2022 and previously held the role of Senior Strategist. Prior experience includes positions as Project Manager and Research Assistant at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from August 2019 to August 2022, and Research Assistant at the Center of Innovation for Flow Through Porous Media between January 2017 and June 2019. Opeoluwa also served as Project Manager and Business Intelligence Director at Sixters Energy from April 2014 to January 2017, and as Project Manager for Start.Con 2015 at The RootHub in early 2015. Earlier experience includes a role as Gas Analyst at Chevron in late 2012 and Project Management Intern for Engineers Without Borders at the University of Ibadan. Opeoluwa holds a PhD in Advanced Energy Systems from Colorado School of Mines, a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan.
