Ondřej Hrabal started their work experience in 2014 as a performer for Slam Poetry. In 2015, they joined Letní filmová škola Uherské Hradiště where they organized the Off-Program (Literature) section of the summer film festival. In the same year, they also began working as an editor for Iurium, where they edited and proofread law articles.

In 2018, Ondřej became a co-organizer of the Literary Festival Inverze, an event that showcases various literary activities and attracts a wide audience. Ondřej also worked as a copywriter for Egoé from October 2018 to March 2020.

More recently, Ondřej joined Whalebone in 2021, initially as a Content Manager responsible for content strategy, team management, copywriting, copyediting, and PR. In 2022, they transitioned into the role of Product Marketing Manager, contributing to the company's mission of bringing cybersecurity to a billion internet users.

Ondřej Hrabal has a Master's degree in Applied Economics and English Linguistics and Literature from Palacký University in Olomouc. Ondřej attended the university from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they also briefly studied Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. Prior to their Master's degree, Ondřej obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and English Linguistics and Literature from Palacký University in Olomouc. Ondřej pursued their undergraduate studies from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Ondřej spent a year (2016-2017) studying Philosophy at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. In January 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a Grade A from Cambridge Assessment English.
