Mateo Bovio

Mateo Bovio has a strong entrepreneurial background and has held a variety of roles across multiple industries. Mateo founded Fidus, a customer loyalty startup, where they served as the founder for four years until the company was sold. Mateo also co-founded Tap and served as the Sales Director. Mateo was the Director of Partnerships at UNAJE and VP of Sales LATAM at SeSocio.com. Mateo'sroles as Commercial Consultant at Closeer and buendoc included sales and marketing functions. Mateo was the Country Manager for The Flock, where they were responsible for building brand awareness and carrying out B2B sales in Europe. At BeInCrypto Mateo was responsible for building global partnerships and managing referral traffic. Additionally, they are a Professor of Entrepreneurship at ITBA Universidad. In 2022, they founded WhaleMate and is currently the CEO and Co-Founder.

Mateo Bovio has an extensive education history that includes multiple degrees and certificates. Mateo earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in 2015. In 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Relazioni Internazionali Europa- America Latina from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and also completed a Sales Direction certification from IAE Business School. In 2020, they earned a Master's degree in Neuroscience from Universidad Favaloro and completed a course on Neuroscience of Decision Making from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.

In 2022, Mateo earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIB Trieste School of Management. Mateo also holds various certifications, including Cryptocurrency Trading from Crypto Res, and Outstanding Young Entrepreneur in the field of Digital Innovation of the Argentine Republic from Organismo Internacional de Juventud para Iberoamérica (OIJ).

Furthermore, they participated in conferences as a speaker during the Tech & Talk Wolox 2017, Foro Internacional de Cambio Climático "CLIMACTIVO 2017", and many others. Mateo was also a finalist in the "Creá Tu Propia Cerveza" competition held by Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes.
