Janelle Sykes

Janelle Sykes has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Janelle most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Whataburger starting in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at C.H. Guenther & Son for over 30 years. During their time at C.H. Guenther & Son, they held various roles including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, Senior Vice President Accounting & Information Services, Vice President Accounting and Information Services, Controller, and Assistant Controller. Before joining C.H. Guenther & Son, they worked as a Senior Auditor at EY from 1986 to 1989.

Janelle Sykes earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from St. Mary's University between 1982 and 1986.
