Amy Sveen

Amy Sveen is a dedicated math educator with extensive experience teaching diverse math courses. Currently serving as an Algebra 1 Teacher at Wheaton Academy since August 2023, Amy previously spent five years in the Community Consolidated School District 181, instructing honors and regular algebra, pre-algebra, and summer bridge courses. Early career roles included positions as a Test Preparation Teacher at WAnet, focusing on international students, and various substitute teaching roles in local high schools and middle schools. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from Wheaton College, where leadership was demonstrated as President of the Student Alumni Board. Additionally, Amy has experience directing youth activities at Bethany Beach Tabernacle.
