Emily Brede

Emily Brede is an experienced integrated healthcare supervisor and clinician with a robust background in social work and human services. Currently serving at Wheeler Clinic since September 2019, Emily completes intakes, facilitates recovery groups, and conducts individual therapy. At MellaHealth since May 2022, Emily serves as an LCSW clinician. Prior experience includes significant roles at the United Way of Connecticut, where Emily coordinated training and quality assurance for 2-1-1 services, and worked as a housing team specialist and contact center specialist. Emily’s early career involved case management for youth, internships focused on childhood development, and volunteer roles in event planning and peer counseling. Emily holds a Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sacred Heart University.
