Richard Leahy

Richard Leahy has been working in the finance industry since 2007 when they joined J.P. Morgan as a Global Currencies and Commodities: Hedge Fund Sales/Structuring and Currency Trading. In 2018, they joined Loop as a Member Of The Board Of Advisors and KPT Capital LLC as a Global Macro Trading. In 2018, they also joined Whim as an Investor/Director, where they joined Wander Technologies Inc (dba Whim Social) as an investor and advisor. The product was sunset in 2019 and they took over the codebase with their CTO in early 2020, launching Whim Social, a local reporter platform, in July 2021. In 2022, they became Co-Owner at a Stealth Startup.

Richard Leahy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Bowdoin College between 2004 and 2008, with a double major in Economics and Government & Legal Studies. In 2006, they also took electives at NYU Stern School of Business in Finance and General. Richard Leahy also holds a Series 7/63 certification.
