Ben Jamshahi has been an entrepreneur for over 30 years. In 1988, they founded Expressway, a company that pioneered the development of accounting software designed for merchant services. In 1996, they founded Huntingdon, Inc., a company that revolutionized the laundry service industry by creating no-contact kiosks located at major tech hubs and luxury housing developments. In 2004, they founded Babalous Restaurant Group, an early disruptor in the fast food market offering healthy and convenient cuisine. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Whimstay, the first to market last-minute vacation rental marketplace.
Ben Jamshahi graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Ben was a member of the Dean's Honor List for four consecutive years. Ben attended the University of California, Berkeley for two years prior to transferring to UCLA.
