Fred Millett

Fred Millett is an experienced materials engineer currently serving as the Lead Materials Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation since June 2012, focusing on glass and plastic materials for new product design. Millett has held various leadership roles, including Lead Engineer at the Glass Association of North America, contributing to several committees and previously chairing the dynamic glazing sub-committee. Prior experience includes consulting for new business development, as Director of Sales and Marketing at Pleotint, and sales roles at Pilkington, where responsibilities encompassed product sales and new product technology management. Earlier work as Engineering Program Manager at Magna Donnelly involved commercializing an electrochromic mirror system. Millett holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from Aquinas College and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
