Josh Larson

Josh Larson has extensive work experience in software engineering. Josh currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer, Lead at Whistic since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Whistic from October 2020 to January 2021. Before joining Whistic, they worked at Daktronics for over 14 years. During their time at Daktronics, they held the role of Software Developer from August 2016 to October 2020, and prior to that, they were a Software Specialist from June 2006 to August 2016. Josh'sroles at Daktronics involved developing software solutions, focusing on servers and communications, and working on various software development projects including desktop, web, and server-side applications. Josh also provided software support for 3rd party integration projects.

Josh Larson's education history begins with their high school diploma from Brookings High School, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Josh then attended Lake Area Technical Institute from 2004 to 2006, where they completed their Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Afterwards, Josh Larson pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at South Dakota State University from 2008 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in April 2022.
