Nusha Yasmeen Mirza

Nusha Yasmeen Mirza is an Optical Assistant at Specsavers since November 2023 and has also been serving as a Sales Assistant at WHITCOULLS 2011 LIMITED since December 2020. Previously, Nusha worked as a Summer Research Student at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora from November 2023 to February 2024, conducting a research project on rapid molecular diagnosis in pediatric cataract under Dr. Sarah Hull. Additional experience includes a role as a Casual Office Administrator at Eastman Motors from January 2016 to December 2020 and volunteering as a Retail Assistant at Sweet Charity Op Shop, Glenfield from December 2018 to December 2019. Nusha is pursuing a Bachelor of Optometry at The University of Auckland, anticipated to complete in 2026, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution, completed in 2022. Nusha's foundational education includes NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 from Westlake Girls High School and attendance at Mt Roskill Grammar School.
