John Harrington

John Harrington has been the owner of John Harrington Productions since 1989. John is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in Washington DC. Their work has been featured in numerous publications and they have been commissioned by the Smithsonian for three books and a poster series. In addition, over half of the Fortune 500 companies have sought their expertise in creating compelling images. Apart from their own company, Harrington has also held roles as a director for the film "WARBONNET: An Odyssey of Honor" and as a producer for the documentary film "Unflinching Grace." John has been involved with various professional organizations such as the White House News Photographers Association, Adobe, the International League of Conservation Photographers, ASMP, the Native American Journalists Association, American Photographic Artists, and PPA. Harrington has served in leadership positions in some of these organizations, such as President Emeritus of the White House News Photographers Association and National Director for ASMP.

John Harrington earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, with a minor in Economics, from The Catholic University of America from 1985 to 1990. John also received a high school diploma from Encinal High School from 1982 to 1985. In 2017, they completed the Landmark Forum graduate program at Landmark.
