Ron (Chris) Brown has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, having held positions at multiple companies since 2000. Ron (Chris) began their career at Aerotek as a Telecom Technician, where they completed records verifications in multiple switching systems and trained new contractors on required job functions. Ron (Chris) then moved to MCI Telecommunications as a Translations Technician, where they served as a training and technical resource for class 5 switching systems, VOIP and SS7, and developed programs, scripts, and data tools to automate repetitive job tasks. In 2000, they joined Verizon as a Telecom Engineer, where they acted as a technical liaison and Subject Matter Expert for Class 5 switch specific information, and developed tools and procedures to document work, maintain records, and provide metrics. Ron (Chris) then moved to Verizon Business as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, where they analyzed intra and inter departmental processes and systems and developed ad-hoc tools for complex data analysis, network wide research, and batch process automation. In 2010, they joined HITECH NETWORK SYSTEMS as a Translations Manager (Contract), where they began a new company venture into switch software support for the removal of Class 5 switches and equipment, and interfaced with Verizon personnel and management on project status. Since 2013, they have been the VP of Technology at White Rock Security Group, LLC.
Ron Brown attended Louisiana Tech University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a B.S in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems. In 2006, they attended Collin County Community College, where they studied Project Management. Ron (Chris) also attended Southern Methodist University in 2005.
