Jacqueline Barruga

Jacqueline Barruga currently serves as the Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs for the Program of Public Health at the University of California, Irvine since March 2020. Previously, Barruga held several positions at Whittier College, including Director and Associate/Assistant Director of the Center for Advising and Academic Success from May 2016 to March 2020. Experience also includes roles as an Academic Advisor at Chapman University and Professional Academic Advisor at the University of California, Riverside. Barruga began a career in student services as a Graduate Assistant at the University of San Diego and held the position of Club and Organization Coordinator at the University of La Verne. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from the University of La Verne.
