Alicia D. has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they co-coached a girl's (aged 15/16) club volleyball team at Tier One Volleyball, where they grew their leadership, communication, and team-working skills. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Associate at Wawa, Inc., where they worked around 30-40 hours a week while dealing with a diverse customer base. Alicia also assisted in the store's grand opening. In 2017, they worked as a Computer Lab Manager at JMU Computing Labs, where they troubleshooted and resolved lab-related issues and provided technical and hardware support to staff and students. In 2018, they had two internships: an Information Technology Intern at CACI International Inc. and a United Summer Associate at United Airlines. In 2019, they were an Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance Intern at Freddie Mac Single-Family, where they transformed business metadata from antiquated spreadsheet into format needed by Enterprise Metadata Management Tool and created dynamic SharePoint webpages for use by departmental stakeholders. In 2021, they worked as an Associate Cloud Consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Currently, they are a Software Engineer I at Whiteboard Federal Technologies.

Alicia D. has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from James Madison University, which they obtained in 2020. Alicia also attended Northern Virginia Community College from 2014 to 2017, Park View High School from 2012 to 2016, and C.S. Monroe Technology Center from 2014 to 2015, where they took part in the Introduction to Health and Medical Science Program.
