Don Hamilton, PMP has over 25 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Don began their career as a Cartographer at NIMA in 1995, followed by a role as a GIS Analyst at Geauga County in 1993. In 1997, they moved to SAIC as a GIS Analyst/Systems Engineer. In 2000, they joined General Dynamics-AIS as a Program Manager, managing three contracts totaling nearly $9 million dollars of business per year. In 2010, they joined PGTEK as a Program Director, managing three small contracts and working as a software operations and maintenance lead. In 2012, they joined Geographic Services, Inc as a Program Manager, overseeing the Geonames production team. In 2014, they moved to Novetta as a Capture Manager, responsible for managing the pursuit and award of qualified opportunities. In 2016, they joined Maxar Technologies as a Geospatial All Source Analyst/Data Manager. Most recently, they joined Whiteboard Federal Technologies in 2019 as a System Engineer.
Don Hamilton, PMP has a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Ohio University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Don also holds certifications from the Project Management Institute, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained in June 2006, as well as certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., including a Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner obtained in November 2019, a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist obtained in July 2020, and a Certified SAFe 4 Scrum Master.
