Muqu Karim

Muqu Karim has over 20 years of work experience in the financial industry. Muqu began their career at Deloitte & Touche, where they worked as a Manager in Financial Services Audit & Assurance in both New York and London. In 2001, they joined Barclays Capital as an Associate Director in Credit Trading Finance in New York, and later moved to London for the same role. In 2006, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Director in Global Credit Trading. Muqu then held the positions of Partner & Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer at Saba Capital Management LP and Stream Asset Management LP before becoming the Chief Operating Officer at Whitebox Advisors LLC in 2020.

Muqu Karim received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1991 to 1994. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at The Wharton School.
