Tracey Colson

Director Of School Improvement And Family Engagement at Whitehall City Schools

Tracey Colson started their work experience as a Teacher at Columbus City Schools in August 1999 and worked in that role until June 2007. Tracey then took on the position of Assistant Principal at the same school from July 2007 until July 2015. From July 2015 until the present, Tracey served as the Lead Administrator at Columbus City Schools. In August 2022, they transitioned to their current role as the Director of School Improvement and Family Engagement at Whitehall City Schools.

Tracey Colson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Capital University in 1999. Tracey later obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, with a focus on General Education, from Ashland University in 2004. In addition to their degrees, Tracey holds certifications including a 2-Year Provisional License in Principal Grades 4-9 and Principal Grades 5-12, as well as a 5-Year Provisional License in Elementary 1-8 and Specific Learning Disabled K-12, both from the Ohio Department of Education.
