Darren Farrar

Darren Farrar possesses extensive experience in golf course management, currently serving as the Golf Course Superintendent at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club since January 2023. Previously, Darren held similar superintendent positions at Old York Road Country Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club, demonstrating a strong background in crew management, pesticide applications, irrigation setup, and disease scouting. Additional roles as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at The Club at Olde Stone and Greensboro Country Club allowed for proficiency in drainage projects, including the installation of French Drains, as well as managing new putting green grow-ins. Educated at North Carolina State University and Guilford Technical Community College, Darren holds an Associate of Science degree in Turfgrass and Business Management.
