Catherine served five years in the Army as a Judge Advocate. She has four years of litigation experience at the state court and Federal levels; two years of which were as a military Federal prosecutor in Europe. Additional roles included advising commanders and senior staff on regulatory compliance issues from fiscal and administrative law, ethics, national security, and the law of war. Catherine was further responsible for the review of millions of dollars of procurement and expenditure requests for equipment and services to ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and Congressional appropriations.
She earned her law degree from Mercer University School of Law where she completed an additional program focused on advanced legal writing. While in law school, she also competed in client counseling and moot court competitions, earning titles at the regional and national levels. She also is a member of the Florida Bar.
