Jacqueline Peñate

Jackie Peñate is currently serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at FACES for the Future Coalition since August 2023 and has been working as an Admitting Counselor/PBX Operator at Whittier Hospital Medical Center, Inc. since November 2022. Previously, Jackie held positions as an SSHA Academic Advising Peer Navigator and a Communication and Social Media Intern at the University of California, Merced from August 2021 to August 2022. Additionally, Jackie served as the Lead Social Media Advocate at Building Healthy Communities in Boyle Heights from September 2020 to July 2021, and worked as a Peer Assisted Learning Support Learning Assistant/Writing Tutor at the University of California, Merced from October 2019 to May 2021. Jackie Peñate earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health from the University of California, Merced in 2022, following a high school diploma from Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez High School in 2018.
