Atul Garg has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Atul founded WhizNets Inc. in 2007, where they served as Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for the successful creation of innovative wireless IoT solutions, cloud SAAS solutions, and mobile applications. Prior to that, they worked at Philips Semiconductors from 1999 to 2007 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. During their time there, they architectured, designed, and developed MAC protocols for low-power WLAN solutions. Atul also played a pivotal role in integrating and commercially releasing these solutions with major phone manufacturers, generating profitable revenue. At Compaq Computers, they worked as a Software Engineer from 1998 to 1999, and at NCR Corporation, they worked as a Software Engineer from 1996 to 1998, contributing to the design and development of firmware for multiprocessor high availability servers. At Timex, they worked as a Software Engineer from 1995 to 1996, developing innovative technology for watches to communicate with computer monitor screen interfaces. And finally, at Avery India Ltd., they worked in both software and hardware engineering roles from 1992 to 1995, designing and developing embedded instrumentation hardware and software products for weighing and measurement applications.
Atul Garg completed a Mini MBA program at Hult Ashridge, focusing on Mastering the Semiconductor Business. Atul then pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration at San Jose State University, which was completed in 2009. Simultaneously, they also earned a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the same university. In 2018, Atul obtained a certification in "How Google does Machine Learning" from Coursera.
