Soyeon Park

Soyeon Park is the co-founder of Whova, a company that specializes in providing event management solutions. Soyeon has been with Whova since its inception in 2013 and has played a crucial role in developing the Whova event app, which is highly regarded in the app stores. Soyeon has also contributed to the development of online registration and event management tools offered by Whova, such as name badge generation, attendee check-in, and event website building. Prior to joining Whova, Soyeon worked as a researcher at the University of California, San Diego from 2009 to 2013 and as a post-doc at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2009.

Soyeon Park earned a Ph.D in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, completing their studies from 2000 to 2005.
