Daphne completes the trifecta of C-suite dynamism. One of Forbes' top 50 women in tech and former technical lead manager at Niantic, Daphne is pioneering a path of her own as a Black and Queer woman CTO. Daphne is a programmer who has worked in languages and platforms across the board, ranging from building game features and UI in Unity and C# to implementing APIs in Objective-C and Swift to working with state machines written in C and C++. She worked on Pokémon Go! and built APIs included in the Foundation framework used by iOS developers across the globe. In her free time (ha!), Daphne is a champion for Black women and girls in tech. She helped found the Black Developers initiative at Niantic as well as BlackFemaleCoders to highlight, encourage, and support the experiences of black women developers. Daphne loves pushing the boundaries of art, writing and telling stories, playing action-adventure console games, and snuggling with her dachshund.
