Amanda McDonald

Amanda McDonald is an experienced registered nurse currently working in the NICU at Banner Estrella since September 2020 and in the Pre-op/PACU at Wickenburg Community Hospital. With a strong background in neonatal care, Amanda possesses extensive knowledge of neonatal growth and development, as well as proficiency in various respiratory support techniques and cardiac monitoring. Additionally, Amanda has been involved in patient education and family support. Beyond nursing, Amanda has a diverse career in education, having taught in multiple school districts since 1998, and has worked as a medical assistant at Total Wellness Medical Center since February 2018. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University, a Master of Arts in Education from Lesley University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado.
