Penny Henon has over 20 years of work experience in project management and leadership roles. Penny started their career at UMB Bank as a Trust Auditor, where they performed internal audits and supervised staff members. After that, they worked at Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates, PC as a Senior Accountant, where they allocated cash among financial institutions and prepared management reports. Penny then joined PHP Healthcare, Inc. as a Cash Manager, responsible for monitoring daily cash positions and supervising staff members.
In 1999, Henon joined Sprint Nextel Corporation as a Project Manager and later became a Certified Project Management Professional. Penny managed the integration of enterprise solutions for data and voice technologies, led cross-disciplined project teams, and successfully transitioned high-level corporate and government customers during network conversions. Additionally, they audited real estate and construction documentation for cellular towers and led the design of an Access Database to streamline construction documentation and contracts.
Henon also worked as a Project Manager at Smartlink, LLC, where they provided staffing and site development services within the telecommunications industry. Penny then worked at Sprint as a Real Estate Manager, contracting through Smartlink, for the network build-out project.
In 2017, Henon became a National Project Manager at Novation Enterprises, LLC, a services company providing site acquisition and project management for large telecommunications companies. Penny established processes and procedures for deploying new telecom equipment, deployed and tracked small cells, implemented a project tracking database, and managed customer relationships for multiple clients.
Most recently, Henon joined Widelity, Inc. in 2019 as a Project Manager. Widelity is a leading provider of business and network engineering consulting services for Telecom Service Operators. Henon works closely with clients to align business needs and processes with infrastructure and technology.
Throughout their career, Henon has demonstrated expertise in project management, customer relationship management, and process improvement.
Penny Henon attended Saint Mary College of Leavenworth from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
