Cathrine B. Hetland

Cathrine B. Hetland is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and is part of the firm's Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy practice. She has significant experience advising various players in the oil and gas industry on a broad range of matters, including legal and commercial aspects of offshore exploration, development, production and sales, as well as M&A projects. Her previous experience includes several years serving as a senior legal counsel for DEA Norge AS, an NCS oil and gas operator, and as a managing associate in the law firm Thommessen.

Cathrine is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's panel on Hydropower, Energy and Oil and Gas law. She has also been a member of several working groups set down by the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association in order to develop model agreements for use on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and was inter alia part of the working group producing the latest revision of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association's standard SPA for license transactions.
