Kady Richardson has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Kady began their career as a Marketing Research Assistant at SoulCycle Inc., where they researched local business markets and organized cycling rides. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant for Letters Home From Stanford, where they read and fact-checked 600+ letters written about the Stanford experience. From 2017-2018, Richardson was a Counselor Group Coordinator at the Stanford Sierra Conference Center, managing 30 college students working as kids counselors and overseeing facility use. During this time, they were also a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, preparing and instructing weekly curriculums for three courses. In 2018, Richardson was a Development and Communications Intern at the Haas Center for Public Service, tracking donor stewardship and coordinating mailing campaigns. Kady was also a Research Assistant for a doctoral project analyzing treatment and media coverage experienced by female employees reporting sexual harassment. Additionally, they were a Section Facilitator for the Designing Your Life course at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. In 2020, Richardson became a Business Development Manager at wikiHow and a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Revolution Foods, where they joined the recruitment team to assist rapid hiring due to COVID-19 and school closures.
Kady Richardson attended Miramonte High School from 2010 to 2014. Kady then attended Stanford University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies with a Minor in Communication. Kady continued their studies at Stanford University, earning a Master of Arts in Sociology in 2019. In 2018, Kady also obtained a Licenced Group Facilitator certification from The Body Positive.
