Ryan Purtill MS has extensive work experience, beginning in 2006 as a Marketing Strategist at Zer0 to 5ive. In 2008, they moved to Unreal Marketing as a Senior SEO Copywriter. After two years, they joined Livengrin Foundation as a Practicum IOP Counselor. In 2013, they became the PR and Marketing Director at Moylan's Brewery. From 2015 to 2022, they held various roles at Healthline Media, including Vice President, SEO; Senior Director, SEO; Director, SEO; and Senior Manager, SEO. Currently, they are the Chief Growth Officer at wikiHow.

Ryan Purtill MS obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications from Villanova University between 2002 and 2006, and a Minor in Theology/Theological Studies from the same university. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Innovative Leadership from the Center for Creative Leadership in April 2017, and a certification in Advanced Google Analytics from Google in April 2015.
