Greg Grossmeier

Greg Grossmeier is an experienced professional in engineering and open education with a strong background in policy and community development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Wikimedia Foundation since February 2013, Greg has previously held significant roles such as Release Team Manager and Release Manager. Prior experience at Creative Commons from June 2008 to February 2013 included positions as Education Technology and Policy Coordinator and Community Assistant, where Greg provided expertise on Open Educational Resources and facilitated the adoption of Creative Commons licenses. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Michigan, focusing on copyright, open education, and scholarly publishing.
