Sheetal Puri

Sheetal Puri is an experienced professional in digital fundraising and marketing with a proven track record in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Digital Fundraising at the Wikimedia Foundation since November 2022, Sheetal previously held the position of Assistant Private Sector Partnerships Officer at UNHCR from June 2017 to November 2022, where responsibilities included developing strategies to raise $23 million in revenue through various marketing channels. Prior experience also includes serving as Director of Online Marketing and Communications at the University of Toronto, where leadership was provided for digital efforts linked to a major fundraising campaign. Additionally, Sheetal worked as Operations Manager and Fundraising Consultant at hjc, overseeing a substantial team and multiple global nonprofit clients. Educational qualifications include a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
