Raveen Janu is an experienced specialist in political and security analysis, currently serving as an Analyst at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since November 2020, focusing on data collection, countrywide developments, and report preparation. Raveen also contributes as a Researcher for the South Asia Desk at Wikistrat, analyzing the region's security, economic, and political environments. Previous roles include Safety Advisor for the International NGO Safety Organisation, where responsibilities entailed political security analysis in Somalia, and UN Political-Security-Technology Associate at the United Nations Department of Safety and Security in India. Raveen's earlier experience includes work as a Research Fellow at the Center For Land Warfare Studies and as an ERP Consultant at Dell. Raveen holds a Master of Arts in International Relations & World Order from the University of Leicester, a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the Army Institute of Technology.
