Andrew Parolin

Andrew Parolin has a strong background in leadership and business development. Andrew has served as the President and CEO of WiLAN since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WiLAN as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Business Development, where they significantly grew annual revenues and successfully closed over 150 transactions. Before joining WiLAN, Andrew was the Director of Wireless Data Products at SiGe Semiconductor, where they achieved substantial revenue growth and was responsible for marketing, product roadmaps, and customer interaction. Andrew also has experience at Skywave Mobile Communications, where they managed international sales and marketing and played a key role in software design and development. Andrew began their career at Nortel as a Senior Designer, contributing to the development of next-generation digital cellular base stations.

Andrew Parolin has a comprehensive education history, starting with their Diploma of Engineering from Dalhousie University, which they acquired from 1987 to 1989. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering from the same university, specializing in Electrical Engineering, for the period of 1989 to 1992. Following this, they attended Queen's University from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their Master of Science in Engineering degree, albeit the field of study was not specified. Later on, they enrolled at the University of Ottawa and completed their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance from 2000 to 2003.
