Kayje Booker currently serves as Deputy Director and Advocacy and Engagement Director at Wild Montana, focusing on enhancing engagement and advocacy efforts to protect public lands. Previously, Kayje held positions such as State Policy Director and CEO at Forward Montana, where efforts were centered on mobilizing young leaders and facilitating voter registration. Experience also includes roles as Voter Registration Coordinator, Program Director, and Consultant, with a foundational academic background as a PhD student in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at the University of California, Berkeley. Education includes a BA in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, alongside early community service roles as an AmeriCorps leader.
