JINHUA HUANG

Senior Principal Scientist at Wildcat Discovery Technologies

Jinhua Huang has worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies since 2016, where they have held the roles of Principle Scientist, Team Lead, Lead Scientist, Scientist II, and Scientist I. In this role, they applied high throughput technology to test hundreds of electrolyte additives and their combinations to improve energy density, cycle life and safety of lithium-ion batteries. JINHUA also collaborated with customers to develop electrolyte formulations for lithium-ion batteries for electronic and EV applications. From 2013 to 2016, Huang worked at Argonne National Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Appointee, where they published more than twenty papers in prominent journals and filed five patents in lithium/magnesium-ion batteries and redox flow batteries. From 2008 to 2013, Huang worked at Basilea Pharmaceutica China Ltd. as a Research Chemist.

Jinhua Huang attended Nankai University, where they earned a Master degree in Fe-only Hydrogenase. JINHUA then attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a PhD in Organic Synthesis.
