Beth Dooley is an accomplished writer and food expert with extensive experience in journalism, communications, and education. Since January 2014, Beth has served as a Weekly Columnist for the Star Tribune, covering the local food scene and sharing recipes. Additionally, contributions to KARE 11's cooking segments and Minnesota Public Radio's Appetites show demonstrate a commitment to discussing local food topics. As a cookbook author and food writer since 2000, Beth manages various writing projects while also directing local food adventures as a Trip Director for Wilderness Inquiry. Beth's earlier experience includes teaching English at Lake Country Montessori School and co-owning Dooley-Knight, Inc., a communications firm. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Arts in the same field from the University of New Hampshire.
