Kelly Hickman's work experience begins in 2007 as an Associate Designer/Costume Manager for the Los Angeles Ballet, where they designed, constructed, and fit costumes for performances. Kelly also managed costumes and dancers backstage and coordinated costume inventory.

In 2009, Kelly became a Design Assistant/Associate Designer for Jonathan Martin, where they organized market line lists, researched and created seasonal trend documents, and communicated with overseas sample rooms.

From 2010 to 2012, Kelly worked as an Associate Designer for the Kellwood Company. Kelly built sample lines for various brands, designed original products, managed wash libraries, and sourced denim fabrics.

In 2012, Kelly began freelancing as a Designer, Trend Forecaster, and Product Developer. Kelly'sresponsibilities included extensive trend and market research and developing trend appropriate details for market presentations.

From 2013 to 2014, Kelly served as an Assistant Product Developer/Team Coordinator for Merrell Apparel. Kelly managed sample libraries, tracked sample progress, and handled office and team needs.

Kelly then joined adidas in 2014 as the Manager of Apparel Development for Action Sports and Snowboarding. Kelly'srole included aligning target price and product designs, reviewing and approving factory costing information, and ensuring compliance with standards. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Senior Apparel Developer - Top Creator, overseeing global apparel development for skateboarding, Adidas originals, and partnership collaborations, such as Ivy Park and Pharrell Williams.

Most recently, in 2021, Kelly joined WILDFANG as a Production Manager.

Kelly Hickman attended FIDM from 2007 to 2009 and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Design.
