Alyssa Bohlender

Alyssa Bohlender is an experienced outdoor guide and instructor with a strong background in leading backcountry trips and providing quality experiences for participants. Currently serving as a guide for The Wildland Trekking Company since April 2018, Alyssa has previously guided in Grand Canyon National Park and taught skiing to young children at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Alyssa's leadership roles also include being an extended trip leader at Camp Thunderbird For Girls and coordinating trips for the University of Northern Iowa Outdoors Program. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services from the University of Northern Iowa, Alyssa has developed skills in trip planning, safety supervision, and engaging youth in outdoor activities.
