Ian Agranat

Ian Agranat is the CEO and founder of Wildlife Acoustics, Inc., established in 2003, which has grown to be the leading global supplier of bio-acoustics hardware and software, selling over 175,000 recorders to more than 100 countries for wildlife monitoring. Agranat also serves as a Limited Partner and Angel Investor at Visible Hands, Bright Ventures, and Backstage Capital, focusing on investing in overlooked founders to promote equity and inclusion in the industry. Previous leadership roles include Vice President and General Manager at Virata Corporation and Globespan Virata, and CEO of Agranat Systems, Inc., which Ian transformed into a leader in embedded Web development tools. Agranat holds a B.S. in Computer Science, with a minor in Industrial Psychology, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
