Kevin Hils

Kevin Hils is an experienced professional in the zoological field, currently serving as the Collections Manager of Ornithology at the Wildlife Conservation Society since February 2014, where Kevin manages a significant avian collection and oversees a team of 17. Previously, Kevin held roles such as Zoo Director at Chehaw Wild Animal Park, responsible for zoo operations and field studies, and Director of Education and Communications at Knoxville Zoological Gardens, leading educational initiatives. Kevin's early career includes positions as Shows Manager at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Show and Outreach Presenter at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, focusing on live presentations and outreach programs. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Zoological Education from Miami University, supplemented by a certification from Leadership Albany.
